Iffley Church Hall

Iffley Church Hall is a characterful grade II listed building in the centre of Iffley village, only a few yards from the church. It is available to hire for regular sessions, such as yoga or meditation classes, or for one-off private functions, including meetings, celebrations and concerts. The hall has capacity for 125 people standing, or 100 seated. It is fully accessible, with wheelchair access, disabled toilet, and hearing loop.

  • Well-equipped kitchen, including fridge, cooker, dishwasher and serving hatch
  • 100 cups and saucers. Crockery available for hire
  • 100 chairs and 14 trestle tables (152cmx69cm, 71cm high)

The hall is available to hire from 8.30am–11pm, Monday to Saturday, and 12.30pm–6pm on Sundays. To find out if the hall if available on a specific date, please contact the hall bookings secretary at hall@iffleychurch.org.uk

Please note, we are currently unable to hire the hall for wedding reception parties.

Children’s party                     £13/hour weekday daytime (until 4pm) – £19/hour evenings and weekends
Local organisation                 £11/hour weekday daytime (until 4pm)
Regular hire                           £17/hour evenings and weekends
Recognised charities may be eligible to hire the hall at a reduced rate. Please contact the hall bookings secretary for more information.

All bookings are subject to a £75 refundable deposit fee.

Terms and conditions of hire

The hall is hired subject to certain Terms and conditions of hire. Please read these carefully to make sure that you understand the conditions, and that the hall is a suitable venue for your event.


If you use the hall more than three times a year, and have children or vulnerable adults taking part in your activities, you must provide a copy of your safeguarding policy with your booking form.
