This is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. In Iffley and Rose Hill, one of our clearest signs of working together is Community Cupboard, a food in the community project, run jointly by Iffley Church and Rose Hill Methodist Church.

We recently contributed to research into food poverty in Oxford. The report, written by Good Food Oxford, can be read in full here.

On Sunday 24-January at 1030, the second annual Community Cupboard Service will be held at the Methodist Church, half way between the Rose Hill shops and Iffley Turn. It is a wonderful chance for our two congregations to meet together in worship and friendship. There will be a collection in aid of Oxford Food Bank, the source for groceries that we give away week by week.
