BACK to BACH (and others!)

Entry free – retiring collection for Rose Hill & Donnington Advice Centre

Janet writes:

It has not been possible to hold this hitherto annual event since 2019 but I hope that this year we may be able to gather in church to listen to some organ music and raise some funds for the Rose Hill & Donnington Advice Centre, whose work is increasingly important.

Donations can be made on the day in cash or cheque or by card and Gift Aid envelopes will be available. Please put Sunday 12 June at 3pm in your diaries for about an hour of music including some familiar pieces by famous names such as Bach, Buxtehude, Handel, Wesley, Stanley, Ireland plus a few by less well-known people such as Vierne, Alain, Young, Lemmens, Zipoli, – but nothing longer than a few minutes! There will also be an interlude of string music played by Elizabeth Harré and David Patrick.

This is the same day as Open Gardens so you can enjoy looking at those before or after the music, and also have tea and cake in the hall!
