Coronavirus update: Attend Remembrance services from home
The Government has asked places of worship to close for regular public worship to help stop the increasing spread of Covid-19. Therefore, after today and until restrictions are lifted, the church will only be open for private prayer. The opening hours will remain the same.
The Act of Remembrance planned for this coming Sunday will now take place online from 10:55am after our 10am Remembrance Sunday service. You can find details on how to access this here (including how to access it over the phone). We are delighted to welcome the new Archdeacon of Oxford as our guest preacher at 10am.
On Sunday evening, the service of Music and Readings for Remembrance will be live-streamed from the church and you will be able to view this via the website.
The 10am Sunday service will continue online. Some other services may be live-streamed from church – please check the website for updates.
The church hall will be closed. Funerals and interments of ashes will still be possible with restricted numbers present.
Please refer to our dedicated Covid-19 page for further information.
We realise that many will be dreading a cold, dark winter of isolation. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any member of the ministry team if you would like someone to talk to.
