HUNGRY TO PROVIDE

Following on from last year’s outstanding achievement, the fundraising period will once again be extended to the whole month, 1st to 31st May.

The first of our fundraising events will be a grand BOOK SALE on Sunday 8th May in Iffley Village Hall from 11.30am to 1pm. Please bring your book donations to the hall on Sunday 1st May between 11.15am and 12pm.

Our second event, back by popular request, is to join our  “Beating The Parish Bounds”. We will meet at St. Mary’s Rectory at 3pm Sunday 22nd May.

While these are fun, social occasions, we are reminded that there is so much hunger in the world, made worse by the lack of grain from Ukraine, the world’s 4th largest grain exporter.

Donations for Christian Aid can be made via the Christian Aid envelopes available inside St. Mary’s Church, on the table by the organ. The envelopes can be safely put in the safe in the wall on the left. Church is open daily 9am to 5pm. Or by donating to the Just Giving Page below, 1st to 31st May.
