We are re-opening the hall from 1 September for our regular hirers and for all others from the October half-term. Please find below the important details for your consideration.
Church Hall is a characterful grade II listed building in the centre of Iffley village, only a few yards from the church. It is available to hire for regular sessions, such as yoga or meditation classes, or for one-off private functions, including meetings, celebrations and concerts. The hall has capacity for 125 people standing, or 100 seated. It is fully accessible, with wheelchair access, disabled toilet, and hearing loop.

- 100 chairs and 14 trestle tables (152cmx69cm, 71cm high)
- Ceiling-mounted projector and screen
- Upright piano

- Free on-street parking
- Please note that Iffley is not accessible for coaches or other large vehicles
The hall is available to hire from 8.30am–11pm, Monday to Saturday, and 12.30pm–6pm on Sundays. To find out if the hall if available on a specific date, please contact the hall bookings secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note, we are currently unable to hire the hall for wedding reception parties.
Private function £19/hour weekday daytime (until 4pm) – £30/hour evenings and weekends
Children’s party £14/hour weekday daytime (until 4pm) – £20/hour evenings and weekends
Local organisation £13/hour weekday daytime (until 4pm) – £19/hour evenings and weekends
Regular hire £13/hour weekday daytime (until 4pm) – £19/hour evenings and weekends
Recognised charities may be eligible to hire the hall at a reduced rate. Please contact the hall bookings secretary for more information.
All bookings are subject to a £75 refundable deposit fee.
Terms and conditions of hire
The hall is hired subject to certain Terms and conditions of hire 2019-20. Please read these carefully to make sure that you understand the conditions, and that the hall is a suitable venue for your event.
If you use the hall more than three times a year, and have children or vulnerable adults taking part in your activities, you must provide a copy of your safeguarding policy with your booking form. Please note, the hall booking secretary is the only person at St Mary’s who deals with booking the hall.
The hall is held by the Parochial Church Council on trusts which permit it to be used only for purposes which are consistent with the beliefs and practices of the Church of England. We reserve the right to refuse any booking which may conflict with the Council’s Christian purpose and ethos, or its charitable status.
