At St. Mary’s Iffley, we have been wondering what we might do in view of the horrendous conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza and we have decided to hold a prayer vigil which we hope very much people from other churches all around might like to share. It will last one and a half hours and be made up of readings, prayers and silence with the opportunity given to people to light candles. The date is 20 August and the time 6.30-8.00 pm (but everyone is free to come for less time if they want to). It would be lovely if people from all our local churches  joined in with us.
