You are warmly invited to take part in the Living Stones Photographic Competition and share the special ways in which the ancient church of St Mary’s, Iffley is experienced in today’s world. Six winning photographs will be used to celebrate the church by publicising it through a new set of postcards and other publications.

On Saturday 8 September you can vote for the 6^th winner of the Competition. The final judging will take place that day by People’s Choice. You will also meet Robert Farrands, a local photographer, who has produced a book of photos of the recent restoration work on the church. Chat with him about the pleasures and problems of photographing old buildings and ask him for tips. Throughout the day Iffley Church, Hall and Glebe Field will be participating in Oxford Open Doors Weekend https://www.oxfordpreservation.org.uk/

The competition is open to all amateur photographers. Submit up to 5 digital photographs that express the theme “My experience of St Mary’s Church” in a creative and personal way.
